Why are we so scared of TB's Defense?

I hope D will can have some big breaks here. They will have a big pass rush on us. Smith will be blanketed. Im thinking Cam needs to run for big plays this game, show us the wheels.

Matchups. Tampa has a good one on D and VJ. Doesn't mean they win....means being too confident is silly. We have good ones ..but they get theirs recognized too

The arizona defense we put up.400 yards on. Truth is we handed that game to them much like Houston did to the Rams.

I remember you saying the Rams had a good front four as well. You remind me of a fortune teller who makes a bunch of predictions and only remembers the one they were right about. Even blind pigs find an occasional acorn.

Cam's on and off days are dictated by lots of things, him, us and opponent. Every QB has them

So if much better is the difference between Tampa giving up 22 points a game versus St Louis who is giving up;26. Then you are right.

They have a good defense, but I am not 'scared' of them.

 

They should fear our defense more than we fear theirs. I love our D.

What is good? Giving up 30 points in back to back contests? Averaging giving up 22 points a game. If they are good then we are stellar.

TB is not a good team overall but they have a defense that can pressure Newton more so than the Rams or Giants or Vikings. If Cam gets pressured this will be a tight game. I'm taking the Panthers giving points but don't be unrealistic on how this could turn out.

Winning is what Cam was accustomed to before he came here. He is in his element.

I've heard the same pessimism before evey game this year.

 

Don't want to put words in others' mouths, but this does seem to be accurate going by what has been said. I'm confident that the Panthers will win decisively. If they lose, it's not the end of the world. What we've seen the last two weeks gives me reason for extra confidence going into this game against a demoralized, frustrated team within a crumbling franchise in disarray. Give me Panthers by double digits.

Make or break game IMO. This game is the ATL game last year, its either up or down after this.

they are just like us.  forced to play against two in division teams who have domes and play on tracks they have to be defensive minded first.  They, like us, ar smart to play the hand they are dealt.  this will be a defensive struggle in the first 20 or so minutes.. After we get up by two scores they will implode.... see St Louis level frustration.... I'm calling for another ejection.
