Should Ron Rivera be fired!

i forgot about SF.... for some reason I think we have a good chance at shocking them. the only fear is they are coming off of a bye. Kap is a fraud in a 2nd year slump.... oh but that only applies to cam. so they won't say that this year... smh

I think we matchup well against SF too....

If we can be rolling into that game playing good.  It is big.  Having that tie breaker over another WC NFC team would be big also

indeed. the o-line must show up and Jstew will be big. D is better now without Josh! lol... actually the other josh doesn't make me feel any better. nevertheless of our rookie dbs look better than last year's batch and they are convincing imo.

I think it deserves to be mentioned that this is the first year of RR where we have had what most would agree was a competent GM at the helm getting deals done, restructure this, cut that...etc. Ron deserves credit where it is due, but I think the atmosphere that Gettleman has brought to the team in the offseason has more to do with some of the changes we have seen than RR "growing" into the position so to speak.

Even if we missed the playoffs, so long as we finished 8-8 or better, I'd be willing to give RR another season, just to see what he can do with what I would consider his second year as coach of a decently managed organization.

Rivera has another year left on his contract. JR is way too cheap to pay two coaches at once.

I agree its either playoffs or bust. He should be fired. But then again what are our other options?

Do we really want to start over with another coach with no experience? Unless an established coach like Cowher or Gruden is a legitimate option, I think he has to stay.
