Don't even worry about audibles if someone tries an onside kick and you aren't in onside return formation. 90% of the time the other team will touch the ball before it goes ten yards and the other 10% you will recover. I played against a guy that did every kick onside and this happened every time.

The only time I didn't recover an opposing onside kick was when I was actually in onside return formation and the ball bounced off Olsen's hands.

 

You must be lucky. While I have yet to recover an onside kick myself (only do it when I have too, can you even aim an onside kick like a regular kick?)  It happens a lot to me. Some dude even pooched it over the onside return guys and ran down and got it while my guys stood around doing nothing. There are times when I think this game is rigged. I'll be up by 2 scores and then the game goes into wacky mode with ridiculous fumbles or passes that randomly float or lag for the easy pick.

 

Its why I stick around in games I know I should lose and don't quit. I know the tide is gonna turn in some comical fashion, and sure enough voila.

ESPN 2k5 was my favorite game. Madden cant touch ESPN.

 I enjoyed it too man but christ, graphics have improved a little.

 

Havent touched my ps2 in years.

Do you know how to move your men back a few yards too, ive seen people do that too?

Can't remember. I think that involves the d-pad not square. Sort of like adjusting the defensive and offensive line if I recall.

Having played madden in months and everything I'm remembering or not remembering is from 13 not 25.

I like Madden, I thought last years was the best football game ever made. Other than taking details out of franchise. I dont think 2k would do any justice. EA has more smoother transitions. I would say the biggest fault is the AI.

I actually thought this has been the only breakthrough for this game. online franchise mode was really fun.

Its better than 11 or 13 in my book. I mean the only two game flaws are you can't throw out routs and the weather glitch which is still not resolve.
