With all the injuries going on the NFL is WIDE open.

fingers crossed. we'll know a lot after thursday... if we can assemble a three-game winning streak during what is historically rivera's weakest stretch i think we might be on to something.

We cannot lose this week. I see the same thing we have seen will happen again this week. We move the ball, score some points, they score late, we win 30-10. Tampon is not a good team. We are a pretty good team. We win.

Every time we win, it helps. Every game we win, reminds Cam he has teammates. Every game we win shows this team their hard work is paying off. Winning begets winning. It is a rule, I think.

I really don't want to go into Atlanta in week 17 needing that game to make-or-break our season.  If we lost... good grief...

Too early to WORRY about this game. We are playing well, let's stay positive.

So in that vein, I give you my bcs, or best case scenario. The only way the failcunts beat us? We are sitting pretty, and rest our starters. If we need to win, they couldn't stop us from winning it.

If we allow Cam to be Cam. We can beat anybody. And Cam had forgotten that. IMO, he was trying so hard to prove he was working, and improving, that he was pressing. Having the O-line playing badly, and you have what we saw. Blah.

Then the Giants game reminded Cam that he can trust his teammates. He started poorly, something like 1 fer, almost threw a pick 6, and looked out of rhythm the 1st 2 drives. Since then he has had 1, yeah, only 1, bad quarter.

I heard that Cam now goes to Offensive Game Plan Sessions. Wonder how long this has been going on? We have been on a real good roll the last 4 games.

its early to tell, obviously, but there are some intriguing scenarios.

1st. believe it or not, this division race aint over yet. the saints are only 2 games ahead of us, and not only do we still play them twice, they have to also travel to seattle and play the niners. meaning if we can sweep the saints (we have a pretty favorable matchup with them) this race becomes extremely competitive. that being said, the panthers themselves need to win the majority of their remaining games or all of this is irrelevant. luckily, we have 6 very winnable games remaining against the winless bucs twice, the ailing falcons twice, the inconsistent jets, and the ailing dolphins. this makes those 2 saints games arguably the two biggest games left on the schedule.

2. -the wildcard race is essentially a fight for one spot, if you agree that either the niners or seahawks will win the west and the other will get one of the          wildcards

- the packers look like theyve gotten it together and i think theyll end up running away with the north

- the cowboys have a 2 game lead in the east, and most likely theyll win that division

- the giants, bucs, and vikings are unofficially eliminated already

that leaves the panthers, lions, bears, eagles, skins, cardinals, falcons, and rams fighting for that last spot (assuming the saints and cowboys win the division)

luckily for us, it gets favorable here

-the rams are 3-4 and just lost bradford for the season. no shot for them

-the falcons are 2-4, steven jackson cant get on the field, and the two players they built their offense around (julio and white) are done, no chance for them either

-the cardinals are 3-4, still have to play the colts, seahawks, and niners, and carson palmer is their QB. its a long shot for them

-the bears are 4-3, just lost cutler for at least 4 games, and still play GB twice. another long shot

-the eagles are 3-4, and i dont think anyone is really fearing them at this point. plus they are one mike vick hit away from matt barkley being their QB

-the skins have been awful but are only one game behind us. they could make noise if bob griffin gets hot and from playing in that bad division, but fortunately they still have at denver, KC and SF on the schedule. unless they win any of those 3 theyre pretty much done

-the lions are 4-3, and they have an extremely easy schedule left with GB at home looking like the only one they SHOULD lose. this makes me think the lions will be the biggest competition we have for that last wild card spot
