tired of panthers fans who are luck dick riders smh we have a special QB too here in Carolina...

I wouldn't trade Cam for Luck sucks most colts fans wouldn't do it if it was vice versa but our fans would.

I don't think most fans would trade Cam. There are a few loud critics, but most of the fan base really appreciates him and would be devastated if Cam were gone.

If I get the chance at the QB I want to start my dynasty. I would take Luck. He has everything you want from your QB, and is more athletic than folks want to believe. The kid is going to be elite. From what I have seen, and read, and heard, I just don't think his ceiling is all that much higher than it is right now. He is plenty good now, and will be plenty good in the future, but he will never lead the league in accuracy.

Unfortunately for that, we have Cam. I don't have to worry about my QB. Cam gots dis. The Offense we envisioned, well those of us with faith, all offseason, has come to root. And that is in big part due to Cam and his accuracy. Cam's last perceived fault, can now be put to rest.

This Offense has been pretty much the same Offense all season. The possible exception would be the Bills game where we went overboard. We have moved the ball against everyone we have faced. We were just ridiculously inept at scoring. Especially in the Red Zone, where we have been very efficient in the past 2 years.

There was all this ballyhoo about Cam stepping up, earning his C, maturing, etc..., We all, well most, thought we were going to come out with all guns blazing. Then we started SLOWLY, and all the worry started. I think Cam forgot he trusted his teammates for a while there.

The biggest factor in this is the 3rd down accuracy. Cam keeps drives moving. Whether it is a pass, or a run, he can keep the chains moving. But it also helps that we are efficient as hellz on 1st and 2nd downs. We are in 3 and short a lot. Easier to be accurate, than those pesky 3 and longs our Defense gives you.

tl/dr version. Luck is good and all. But Cam is the prototype for the QB of the future. Don't care what other QBs do. Unless they play us, they take a back seat to what Cam can bring.

I have waited a lifetime for my team to have a true Franchise QB. The Lions finally have Stafford, so I came out even there. We have Cam. I'll take the brightest talent to hit the field in like...ever.

Giddy as all get out to have Cam. If you couldn't tell by now. And the fun has just begun.

Sorry for the ramble. Long weekend at the inlaws. My brain just rebooted and I couldn't stop it.

This is mostly true. The vast majority love Cam. But we have the vocal minority to balance us out.

The good news being. As the wins continue, another perceived fault will be laid to rest.

Well hellz. Let's make it 2. Every win makes him better, soon he will be a "Winning QB". So that knock will disappear. And his accuracy, or perceived lack there of. He is at 65%, and with our O, I don't see the problem.

Cam ain't perfect, yet. So what. (By all accounts he is working his azz of trying to improve.) Well, I guess when you don't believe in Cam, every fault is valuable. Soon those "faults" will be as rare as seeing an inlaw after breakfast.

The Colts were the worst team in the NFL without Luck. The Colts are a top 5 team with Luck.

The Panthers were the worst team in the NFL without Cam. The Panthers still suck with Cam.

You forgot that part, bro.

The colts were one of the best teams in the NFL 2 years before they got Luck.

The panthers were still terrible 2 years before they got Cam.

Anyone who compares Luck to Cam does so based on a lot of misinformation and amateur interpretation. Luck's played outstanding, but the dude is just as prone to boneheaded plays as anyone. I mean, he attempted to throw back into the field of play while falling out of bounds, basically violating every known tenet of quarterbacking known to mankind for absolutely no fathomable reason late against the Broncos. Nothing irritates me more than the constant adulation of his football intelligence which is vastly overrated and has been since his college days; he's actually a bit of a gunslinger, which isn't  a bad thing by any stretch because that makes for more explosive plays but he's not remotely close to Peyton, Brady, Brees or Rodgers when it comes to his decision-making. And I'm really curious to see how he handles the absence of Reggie Wayne, because Wayne made a lot of catches out of nothing for Luck.

Both these guys are great QB's.

The difference is 1 was drafted by a true 2-14 team. The other team went out of their way to make sure they sucked for Luck and refused to upgrade from a craptastic QB in Curtis Painter. Their fan base had a huge campaign for half the damn season chanting "Suck for Luck". The Colts knew they wanted rid of Mannings massive contract and were going to rebuild with the most sure fire pro prospect to hit the draft in 10 years.

But they also weren't just the Manningless Colts with a new rookie QB, they had a lot of turnover too since they changed to a 3-4 defensively. The difference is they weren't hindered by an incompetent GM in Marty Hurney that made it impossible for this team to upgrade on the same talent that went 2-14. We overpaid to keep the same guys in town while also handing out massive feel good contracts to "corps" players, some while rehabing serious injuries.

The Colts were actually able to bring in some decent defenders like Corey Redding and made some brave moves by trading a 2nd rounder for Vontae Davis. They also had some great luck in signing guys like Jerrell Freeman from Canada who was/is outstanding for them or Darius Butler who got cut by us and NE but went there and lit the roof on fire. It felt like every weeks highlights he was making a pick 6. They put together a great rookie draft class bringing in great youngsters to grow with Luck too.

The Panthers didn't even have a second rounder when Cam was drafted and every pick but him had been pretty much useless and is already gone. They were so badly managed that they couldn't even pay for decent talent in year two under Cam. All we've been able to offer FA's are cheap one year contracts other than Olsen in '11' (plus a 3rd rounder) and Tolbert in '12.

Its taken 3 years to rebuild our D and all they've really been able to add are high draft picks in Luke, Star and KK and a bunch of 1 year deal players on the cheap. Its amazing we are so highly ranked defensively to be honest with what little we've had to work with. Thank God Davis returned healthy.

Then while we were dealing with Rivera and Chud and starting two seasons going 2-8 the Colts rode an emotional wave of Chuckstrong to the playoffs. While our D was collapsing late in comically new ways week to week, Lucks Defense was making critical stops. Then Luck himself was outstanding leading numerous comeback wins in almost The Golden Calf of Bristol fashion. He was at his worst statistically in the 4th quarter yet was somehow able to pull out last second wins. He is a great QB, pass completion rating aside, he steps up and gets the job done when it counts.

The Panthers will still be haunted by a ridiculous amount of dead cap thanks to those poor decisions by Hurney next year. By the time we get out of it a new cycle will begin with Newtons extension.

Two completely different run organisations, Irsay, while he constantly comes off like a drunk on twitter has made some incredibly shrewd moves that all seem to have paid off. They've had a winning mentality for years, the Panthers are in euphoria we've finally hit .500 again.

Will it last, will Richardson prove worth the trade, will the WR's step up with Wayne out, I think they'll survive, they're just that Lucky right now.
