Panthers claim WR T. King

Count me in on really liking this signing.  The Broncos are too loaded at WR...what a nice problem... & did everything in their power to hide him.  I think he will actual contribute this year; beginning likely in another 2-4 weeks after he learns the playbook & earns the trust of the coaches.  I certainly don't think this is just another signing.  He could be a good slot guy, even fairly early on.

As a Georgia fan, I can tell you this guy is good. I think Georgia is certainly hurting without him. He may be no A.J. Green but he was the second best receiver on that roster. Not saying he will make an impact but we will see.

Interesting move, although I question DJ Moore being the one cut with our cornerback situation.  DJ Moore seemed like an ideal nickel, however I guess since he was a 1 year contract "rental" and may have cost more then he's worth to extend, he was expendable.  Between the additional of McNutt and this guy, I think G-Man is gearing up for next season where everyone not named Smith is a free agent(although I think it's pretty likely Lafell and Ginn are resigned).

Quickly skimming the Broncos boards and news, they are pretty disappointed about losing the guy and thought he has a high ceiling.  It's pretty telling the Packers were looking to add him as a #4 WR last week, and we were able to get him for free.  Looks like the type of guy who could be a legit #2 for years to come and push Lafell.

Well stated

Heck, rookies take a while to develop anyway, so King could be good--Gettlemen is quite the opportunist.
