Interesting stuff just now w/#Panthers DC Sean McDermott. Said #Rams sent more attention toward Kuechly than any team yet.

Essentially, #Rams sent blocker toward Kuechly at the start of each play, instead of keeping a blocker near line on a DLman.

Since #Rams did that, Kuechly wasn’t able to roam - he had career-low 3 tackles - but it allowed Short & Lotulelei to shine.

That kind of thing only works if your other personnel are easily handled. Clearly that wasn't the case.

Maybe if you had enough blockers to double every guy on the D-Line and Kuechly... :unsure:
