Bell did get beat like a drum on the first sack..........

The whole play was messed up.  Cam was standing their waiting on DWill.  It was almost like a read-option delay.  But that just doesn't make sense.  I don't know who messed up (besides Gross) but there was some miscommunication between Cam and DWill for sure.

for whatever reason, miscues between williams and newton are almost normal.

 

they look clumsy and at times almost comical.

 

the two of them have yet to develop fluid consistency in the backfield...and this is season three.

Cam walked away......Bradford didn't.Lucky he is as big as a linebacker and can take that pounding until next year when we fix that problem.

The problem was not lack of talent that caused him to get hit in the back.  The problem was lack of execution.  Having a new o-line wouldn't help.
