Where did our run game go?

the Rams game plan was to stop the run and make the Cam beat them with the pass. the panthers faced alot of run blitzs and 8 man fronts with the idea of forcing cam in to long 3rd downs. the plan half worked because the running game was pretty bad but as you can see by Cam's statline he made them pay dearly and the WRs were open on almost every play. Also the running game seemed to play much much better after Chris long was ejected...DWill went from a brutally bad day to just a bad one.

rams have a very good front 7. they shut down our run....at least for the first half.

we kept pounding and kept mixing things up and the rams D just flat got wore out.

against the bucs....i think we'll see more passing. their Dline isn't getting much pressure at all and they aren't able to really take advantage of revis.

the lack of successful run game yesterday was more a testament to their DL when they had a chance.

it took a while for us to get into a groove offensively and that is a bit concerning, but the next couple games are against defenses that just aren't all that great.

i think we put about the same kind of beating on them offensively that the eagles did only our D won't let them score as much.

Everyone else has gashed them....

they were one deep safety most of the game with 8 in the box.  their game plan was to stop our run at all cost and they thought they could cover our wr's one on one on the outside, we won this battle.  we adjusted beautifully and our guys executed.  props to Cam, Shula, and everyone else that contributed.

Our run game is struggling because our OL has collapsed. There's very little we can do about multiple injured starters on OL.

Meh, we have new guards, that's it....and I don't think anyone can confidently say the others were better.

Gettlemen walked into this season knowing he had OL issues. Injury isn't why we have OL issues. Was a talent issue before the season started. Depth as well
