Not to be a dick, but I'm conditioned to say thats just how you feel as a fan.

By thinking that you are saying :

"Mike Shula's offense can score 25+ points a game on any defense"

"The Panthers secondary can contain any WR corps + QB combo"

"The Panthers coaching staff can match wits with any other NFL staff"

and a few more about our WR's, QB, and on and on.

I just can't believe that strong anymore.....I've been hurt to many times! :D

No i dont mean it like that. I mean we morphed into a team that can match that kind of intensity but keep our head. I was really surprised at how much Rivera trusted the team when he called the timeout with 20 seconds left at the end of the first half to give us an opportunity. Little things like that he has never done before. He has tried to protect the players in the past.

I get it's just me being a fan but i've never seen this team respond like that under Rivera. The Rams game was huge and we punched them in the mouth. Cam's demeanor after the win, the way this team came together means more than people think. I'm buying what they are selling at this point.

i'm feeling kind of bullish, atm.

  • @Bucs W
  • Falcons W
  • @Niners L
  • Patriots W
  • @Dolphins W
  • Bucs W
  • @Saints L
  • Jets W
  • Saints W
  • @Falcons  W

i don't think we lose another home game this year. i can see us maybe losing to the 49ers in san fran, but it being a close game. i see us splitting with the saints. i see us sweeping he bucs and the falcons. i think we are good enough to beat the dolphins in miami.

with the exception of a game or two, i think we're done losing.

Everytime I go back they hit me when they drink Rum.

I love em, I really do, but I can't keep getting hurt like this.

It's not fair for you to tease me Rum, not after all I have been through.

I can't...I just can't...

Can't really predict much at this point.  I mean, there is just now talks of "turning the corner."  If we finally start playing up to our potential, then the SF and NE games--NE to a lesser extent--will truly be top teams playing their ass off trying to get to the post season.  I say we win one of those, but I can't help but have reservations about going back and forth across the country.

My prediction:  Win one we "shouldn't," e.g., SF or NE, and drop one we "shouldn't," e.g., NYJ or MIA.

I left conference games out of that equation because those are always so iffy.  Conference games, I say we go 4-2, whether it's sweep the NO or TB.  So, conference games determined, that puts us at 7-5.

Final prediction:  9-7 AS OF TODAY.  Need to wait and see how the team develops over the next few games.  A win in SF would be a HUGE confidence booster.  Still, early season losses that were so close might keep us back.

Just drink some more rum you'll be ok. It's a nice feeling in Pantherland right now and i'm going to enjoy it.

Tampa and ATL are must wins. 49ers game will be huge as well. My only reason for optimism about the 49ers game is Shula seems to be getting it. Put Cam out on bootlegs, run screens, quick throws whenever the O-line is struggling. Shula actually made half-time adjustments and we thrived. Rivera in his press conference wasn't all his usual smiling self so happy we won. We expect to win now. Next team up.

Just win the rest of our home games. Then steal two on the road.

10-6.

Take care of BOA (which will be tough with NE, Jets, and NO coming to town) and we have a chance.

Winning on the road is tough, so we have to win at home and get s couple on the road.

I will also allow my fandom to skew my logic and say we have the ability to beat anyone anywhere. We just have to keep it playing great and focused
