That was some vintage Smitty poo right there.  It shows it better in the replay from a different angle the way he just sidesteps Jenkins and brushes him to the side with a slight wave of the arm using his momentum to send him flying, then proceeds to juke the other guy out of his shoes for the TD.  Haven't seen Smitty burn anybody that bad in a while.

Probably my 2nd favorite Smitty owning trash talker moment.

#1 is still that bum from the Giants game in NY. He got in Steve's face and bumped him, then on the next play Smitty jumps and catches a 40yd bomb from Delhomme and trucked that fool at the goal line.

Can't really count the Smoot incident. Smitty murdered that poor bastard for 60 minutes.

That Minnesota game in 2005 was my first game since the 96 Pittsburgh game.

He wore Smoots out like a red headed step child.

Nothing more to say about Smitty he won the Triple Crown of Receiving that year.

I saw a clip of that game and heard the announcer calling for a TKO after Steve's eleventybillionth catch on Smoots.

"My god this is getting ugly. If they aren't gonna give Smoot some help they need to take him out. He can't possibly want anymore of #89."

I was standing and cheering (by myself in my living room) during the game for the plays he was involved in...

I was getting fired up and excited during the brawl.....

I cried out OLE after I saw his matadore move.....

i laughed myself silly when he walked away with a big smile in the on-field interview ......

I got choked up when he became emotional talking about his 800 th catch after the game......

I will NEVER forget this game... Nor will I ever forget what #89 has done for this franchise. As far as I am concerned they can start working on a sculpture for him already
