SNF: Manning vs Luck

Luck is a bad looking dude. He has to be nice. Kind of like the kid with pimples all over their face. Unlike pretty boy Cam who have to practice being nice. If you're an ugly dude the last thing you want to be known as is nasty. Plus, Luck doesn't have much talent that wows people. He can be humble all he wants, he is still a low talent ugly dude with the same fate as Christian ponder, Schaub, Quinn, Alex Smith, Linart, etc. Damn, the list is endless.

LOL!

I don't know what good looks has to do with being a good QB.  About the only QB that has Hollywood looks is Tom Brady.

IF Luck is no more than an average QB, there have been more "average" QB's win the Super Bowl than "great" QB's.  (How many rings do Tarkenton, Kelly and Marino have again?)

And IF Andrew Luck is a low talent QB, what does say about Cam Newton?  Luck broke Cam's rookie records and so far, Luck's 2nd year is lights out better than Newton's last year.  Also, the Colts have beat 3 of the hands down Super Bowl contenders this year, say about the QB's of those teams?  I suppose, Seattle, San Francisco and Denver have low talent QB's.

I don't have a crystal ball to see into the future to say who of the young QB's are good and who isn't.  So far, Andrew Luck's stats this year are better than his was last year.  Which to me, shows improvement.

After all, the only race any of us have, is with ourselves.

The Colts were in the Playoffs a season before Manning had surgery. When was the last time the Panthers seen the Playoffs?
