Still No Respect

From nfl.com.. instead of even just simply stating that the Panthers won today, it was a jab by saying we beat another bad team.

The Rams clearly wasn't "another bad team" at the begginning of the week. I said it before and I'll say it again, our media and it's psychology. These folks in the media seems to enjoy feeding the mindset of the various fans and their teams.

Every win is an accomplishment. I am sure they will say the Pat's losing to the Jets is no big deal but the Jets fans thinks beating the Pat is a big deal. I am sure if the Rams had beaten the Panthers it would be another notch in their belt. :)

You must grow a thick skin. Be prepared when the Panthers start to beat the so called "better teams." They will spin those also.

To the OP

And on top of that, The NFL Network has not shown any Panther highlights (after the 1pm games), though I've seen Buffalo, Wash, Miami, etc., and other teams 2-3 times already. SMH

It's a conspiracy. When Cam plays good games or puts up good stats, they ignore him/the team (joke, joke). Lol.

Let's see what happens, if/when the Panthers go 4-3 this week (bad team or not, Tampa Bay beat Carolina 2x last  year)?????

Personally, I don't care. I just want to see the Panthers keep winning, and Rivera showing more guts/killer instinct. Despite the win, Rivera didn't. He needs to learn not to take the pedal off the metal and think every 3-15 pt lead is enough to run a cloud of dust up the middle to end 2nd halves or last quarters.

They did show them, but if you blinked you might have missed them. They showed Long getting ejected, Smith dodging a punch, Smith scoring a TD and his dance, and Bradford's injury and that was about it.

Fwiw, two 500 and below small market teams aren't going to get a lot of press coverage. Win the next two, and we might start to get noticed a little

Thanks I was speaking about the early broadcast.

Deon loves Cam, so I knew I'd see him there. But like you said,  you would have blinked if you weren't looking for it or present.

I can tell you the amount of times I've seen Cincy, Buffalo, Miami, etc., highlights, and no Panthers.

In fairness, if you beat Tampa Bay next week (especially if the team or a player puts up great stats) someone should notice. You get real good coverage, if you win next week and then one of, or the two games after.

to be fair we've only beaten the giants, vikings, and a team that made mistake after mistake... i mean if jake long doesnt trip hardy and quick doesnt drop a TD pass, we lose. rams beat themselves up, esp with those 5 personal fouls (not that we didnt play really well at times).

just sayin
