Not to be a bummer but we haven't played any good passing offenses outside of Seattle, so I think it's hard to judge how good this secondary is. But we're going to see SF, NE and ATL soon enough, by then we'll have a great idea where they stand.

The Giants were the #1 passing offense when we faced them. Held Eli to 120 yards.

I believe Mitchell has vastly improved this secondary as a whole. The big test will be these dink and dunk type O's in our future.

 

It's going to be interesting to see how we respond to that. And yes Godfrey has proven to be garbage more often than not.

 

Mitchell has become a leader as well doing alot of interviews and getting the team excited with his play.

I think as time moves on and if Rivera manages to keep his job, Steve Wilkes will prove to be an invaluable part of what makes this defense one of the best in the NFL. The guy seems to be really good at making more with less.

Godfrey sucks.....Panther fans have had this weird campaign trying to convince themselves he doesn't for years now

They've played well overall but it has a lot more to do with the 7 guys in front of them. Good to see them, and the team, get some recognition.

I would normally say "Well duh you have a too three pass defense when the other team can just run all over you the whole game", but, that's not the case.....we're young too.
