Ideal 1st Round Pick for Carolina [UPDATED]

Watkins has been my dream for months now but that ain't happening so I'm all for whichever big bodied WR is BPA in the first (or CB/RT if no good WRs available) and CB in the second if not the first. I definitely want a CB in the first two rounds and much prefer a WR in the 1st. Get a RT in the 3rd and BPA for the rest of the draft. Wouldn't even mind a RB around the 4th to prepare for life after Double Trouble (one or both have gotta go, I know the cap hits would be terrible but the current situation is ridiculous). Barner/Tolbert might work but we've seen nothing out of Barner to suggest he's a legit NFL player yet.

Stack up the big men. Benjamin and Coleman. That's 13 feet of WR's

Could you imagine that? We'd probably immediately have one of the most feared WR tandems in football

Brandon Coleman and Kevin Benjamin. Throw in 89, and that's an instant nightmare for the opposition.

Coleman had a 40 low of 4.48 according to draftscout.com.

I don't think that we could get both, but one or the other plus Chris Boyd out of Vanderbilt would be more realistic. Of course, there was that little issue with Chris Boyd that caused him to get kicked off the team, but I would still give him a look if he is available in the later rounds.

Steve Smith

Kelvin Benjamin

Brandon Coleman

I'm counting on Tedd Ginn, Jr. being resigned due to his speed and versatility.

Possible FA - Jeremy Maclin, Hakeem Nicks, Kenny Britt

I would love to see Benjamin and Coleman in the slot working the seams on the safeties and #89 working the underneath routes.

It is possible to get both Benjamin and Coleman.

Benjamin is currently projected to be late 1st rounder with 4 other WR's rated higher than him. Of course barring a fall at the combine by the four WR's ahead of him or a drastic spike in his stock, he can be had late 1st.

Coleman is projected late 2nd early 3rd. Grab him in the second round.

I think the Raiders would.

And that's what I think will happen when we i do my mock.

Tag and trade hardy to the raiders for there second, third and sixth this year and maybe 3 next year too.

I know Hardy has first round value, but I don't think Oakland would trade there first rounder, there too high up there. Oakland gets a QB or Watkins with there first. I'm not sure who other than Oakland has the cap space to do it. I'll sit down and look at all the other teams first but Oakland comes to mind immediately.

A first, 2 seconds and 2 thirds would do wonders for this team if DG drafts well.

Could get a good WR combo (Benjamin, Beckham, Robinson, Moncrief, Landry) to get two of these guys would be huge. Plus we'd still have another second to draft an OLman, and 2 thirds to grab a corner and DE.

I hope so if we can get a first rounder from a poor team then bye bye kraken dont let the door hit you on the way out
