In Rivera's press conference he said the coaches were already looking at film and gameplanning for the Bucs but with the intent that he seperates the two games in his mind so that he doesn't mix the Bucs game with Rams game.

 

Said the coordinators would be doing light gameplanning and he would take the brunt of it until right after the Rams game.

Bucs have a stout rush D and we have struggled against that. TB could be a tough game given short rest and on the road.

 

Bucs honestly worried me more than the Falcons and Saints did coming into the season because they seemed to be a horrible match up for us... I think all that's kind of gotten lost around here going into that game due to the implosion they've had, but it still stands.  They're a terrible match up for our offense now that they've improved their secondary and they play like they're capable of.

 

But to be fair I didn't expect Ginn to be anywhere near as good as he is so hopefully he can help open up our offense some.

I'd like for everyone to think back for just a moment... It's June. The draft is over and camp doesn't start for two months. There is little to no Panthers news at all....

This is as critical a five days as there is for this team. We'll learn a lot about how focused this team is because they could be either above .500 for the first time in ages or subpar or even on life support depending on the outcomes.

If we're not 4-3 after the Bucs game then we can forget the playoffs because 3-3 or 2-4 isn't going to cut it unless we get hot as fug.  We still have the 49ers, Pats, Saints x2, Falcons x2, and the Bucs again.

 

Also the Dolphins and Jets, which neither look as easy as they previously did coming into the season.

Yea....the game against St. Louis will be a tough, chippy game.  Type of game they're going to need all the rest they can get afterward.  The short turn around will be affecting both teams though.

I hope the falcons beat the Bucs, demoralize them to 0-6 with just a 5 day turnaround. We dont need them getting any momentum at all before they play us. Glennon is one of the lowest rated QBs now in the league. I am fully confident if we beat the Rams, we will be sitting at 4-3 this time next week.

We have the edge there. A 0-6 team with one of the lowest rated passers and a team that has given up on their coach along with a Thursday night game is a bad combo.
