Just watched the Rams - Texans game

I haven't seen a home team give away a game like that in quite some time.

 

The Texans could do nothing right. Special teams blunders, fumbles, third down penalties. Good lord it was hard to watch.

 

The Rams looked mediocre at best. If they had faced a defense that pretended they could tackle it would have stifled them.

 

Color me not impressed.

Yep thats what I said, we have to lose this game ourselves. The Rams arent going to beat us.

 

Panthers start slow and have fragile confidence though. If the refs dig in early, its gonna be bad for us.

I haven't forgotten the Jake vs Philly in 2009 or Matt Moore's 2010 meltdown vs the Giants.

 

Agree though. Rams did nothing special. If the Texans weren't commiting 100 yards of penalties in the first half, that score doesn't get out of reach and Foster gets to 200 yds rushing easily. Also the Texans Defense is the worse redzone D in the NFL.

Their defensive line however was able to disrupt the Texans oline a lot. If our oline will give Cam the same pockets & time like against the Vikings, I see us having a quite comfortable win.

While I agree the Texans lost that game more than the Rams won it, there is something to be said for being able to capitalize on another team's mistakes.

Buffalo gave us the ball inside their own 30 twice and we only got 6 points. If we had taken advantage that game could have been a blowout.

I think we're the stronger of the two teams, but much like the Rams, we've really not seen our offensive weapons perform well against decent opponents.

I don't know. That Cardinals defense was kicking our butts left and right in the second half of the game. If they'd have had a decent QB, it might have gotten really embarassing.
