Even Top Dawg doesn't want Britt for the asking price. Titans FO is crazy

The Titans have talked to several NFL teams regarding struggling receiver Kenny Britt, according to sources with knowledge of the situation, but have been attempting to get a third-round pick for him, or a combination of picks equal to a third rounder. Other clubs have found that price to be high, sources said, with them viewing Britt, given his off-field issues, expiring contract and lack of any recent production as valued more like a fifth-round pick.

Excuse me if I missed it, but I just came across this by Jason La Canfora. Are they mad? I remember discussing this with someone like two weeks ago and they said that we'd have to give up more for Britt than a late round pick.  That being said, I am glad that interested GM's are balking at the idea of a third round pick. Dude has a questionable character, suspect knees, and is dropping passes. Now all of a sudden Munchak is "mysteriously" changing his tune.  No way in hell that I'd give up a third for Britt, and you know how bad I want to get a receiver in here with even a semblance of upside.  The price will probably go down, but if it doesn't, at least I have the security of knowing that the FO is in better hands now and will never succumb to a deal that wreaks of snake oil.  A fifth, maybe. A sixth, I would probably pull the trigger.  Anything more? No chance in hell.
