In all honestly we'll be able to tell a lot about this team and Ron Rivera from this game.  This is a game the Panthers of 2009-2012 would usually lose.  I picked them to lose as well but, I'm really hoping for a big win to bring us to .500.

You got me there. The coin tosses last season made me believe.

You make your own luck in this world in every endeavor.  "Lucky" teams don't make the Playoffs, and they certainly don't win Superbowls.  Good teams make the playoffs, and Great teams win the Superbowl.

 

The Panthers need to be a good enough team to make the playoffs, and hopefully they play great enough in the playoffs (a la 1996, 2003, & 2005) to make some noise.

 

The 2008 Panthers were a good team, but they peaked after the Monday Night Game against Tampa and were not playing their best ball going into the playoffs.

 

That being said, the Panthers good teams have been in short supply. 

 

A good team will win Sunday.  The season is not over if they don't, but it will be an uphill fight the rest of the way. 

 

I am trying not to get my expectations up, but I want to see the Panthers at least be relevant during the 2nd half of the season again.

Theoretically, wouldn't flying under the radar allow you to be noticed easily, assuming the radar was directed inwards? Flying above the radar is the way to go.
