Before Ram's fans start celebrating, they should probably be aware that Wharton had a great game against the Vikings last week. He graded out very positively (like a 6.5 or something) per PFF.

On the other hand, we just had a good week.  Which means it's time for us to poo the bed.

Go ahead and party Ram's fans.

From what I saw the Oline looked the best it had all season last week. Cam seemed to have more time to throw and DeAngelo had some nice holes on the left side. Considering Wharton had been out of football for so long, I would think he is only going to get better with time.

That has been the pattern, unfortunately :(

Its a primary reason why, despite the team looking good against the Giants and Vikings, I'm still not sold that Rivera should stay.

The only way Rivera stays is if we make a deep playoff run.

He makes the postseason.....he should stay IMO.

Takes over a 2 win team.

Goes 6-8, 7-9, and then postseason?   As long as we don't pull an AZ...

Remove him then and what exactly are you claiming you are trying to do here in Carolina?

Instill a winning tradition in a Franchise that has done the exact opposite. Winning late in the season means nothing if you end up 6-8, 7-9 and watching the playoffs from home. If he stays at least bring in a Quality QB coach or OC to fix Cams mechanics. Its not all his fault he can only coach the players he has. But its a Win now business as they say.

so you fire a coach that took over 2 win team....improved every year....makes the postseason (something that rarely has occured in our history)?  I mean wouldn't that essentially be squashing a rebuild/change you just made....that worked.

Cam mechanics aren't bad.  His footwork just gets lazy.  I agree though, if RR were to stay....his GM actually has to start HELPING him and not handicapping him.

If we make the playoffs. We only beat the Giants and the Vikings. Lets not get ahead of our selves. If we improved so much I would think that winning close games wouldn't be such of a challenge for this team.

well, that was the hypothetical.

law of averages IMO....eventually the cards simply have to fall the other way at some point as comical as it has been
