Seattle Loss

Way Truth Life

Recommended Posts

I thought that too 5 weeks ago.

Carolina should have had a larger lead on Seattle going into the 4th quarter and their time of possession should have been greater, but those mistakes cost them.  The 4th quarter was a defensive meltdown and Seattle gained 170 yards.  Simply unacceptable.

again...despite all of that, they were still in the game the entire time.

even if he didn't reach the end zone, all williams had to do was hold onto the ball. carolina would have had the opportunity to eat up more clock time and score late to seal the game.

we can point at all the mistakes. there are some every game...but what lost the game was the fumble.

yeah.........I saw Belicheat and all his coaching beat the Saints on Sunday.

PS........sometimes it just comes down to players making plays.

Sunday was a great example of Belichick being the best coach in the league.  He knew that punting the ball and giving the Saints 80 yards with their running game clicking the way it was would kill the clock, so he went for in on 4th down at the 30, thus saying give me the ball back sooner whether it be FG or TD, so the Patriot offense can get back on the field.  It was questioned but when you look at what the Saints were doing running the ball, it was a brilliant call.

both seattle and buffalo games came down to a single mistake by the players.

no mistakes and the panthers sit at 4-1

Buffalo game came down to a single 4th and 1 decision by Rivera. We went for 3 points instead of 7, and lost. Plain and simple.

Since then, Rivera has been going for it on 4th down quite a bit. Coincidence?

even with taking 3 instead of 7, the panthers were in it until the last play.

if norman doesn't have a brain fart, carolina wins.

I agree. But if you are Ron Rivera in that scenario, how do you not have flashbacks to the game in Atlanta, or Chicago last year?
