What Ram fans are saying

AP was 9-31. We bottled him up real good. You don't make a living trying to run against us.

Our only weakness, on Defense, is the same weakness every team has in a passing league. Lack of depth at DB. Specifically, the CB position.

Although I will admit we have some kids that have shown up. So I would call our Secondary pretty good. Lot's of teams would kill for our depth. Hard to wrap my mind around that. Us, with talent, in the back end... lol, back end.

Don't know what site you're reading but if you want a balanced view check out:  www.ramsondemand.com if you like.

I was talking about RamsOnDemand. Lets take a quick look...

"Stacy is our version of Emmitt Smith. Consistently picks up positive yardage, eats up chunks of yards and doesn't allow himself to be caught in the back-field often"

"They can't stop the YAC Stacy and the power O anyway."

"Stacy is the man and the run game is here to stay"

"on Bradford to win through the air. I would check your confidence. I wouldn't have full confidence in anything. I don't see you guys shutting down Stacy."

"Doesn't look like it now that Stacy has emerged and SJ remains on the sideline"

"Especially if Stacy continues. If we can run on anyone, and play defense, we have a recipe for MAJOR success."

"Very impressed with what Stacy did to Houston defense. I feel Rams have found there rb"

"Stacy is quite similar to DeAngelo Williams"

"TRich has looked just ok this year. I think I'd rather have Stacy and keep my first round pick, thank you very much."

"I don't think that Carolina has faced a Running Back like Stacy all season. He will challenge them as long as he has holes to hit. He is small and very hard to get ahold on. So far Defensive backs cannot take him down"

I found these quotes on 13 pages of 139 related to Stacy.

This was the best quote.

Yep Lynch and AP are definitely no Stacy....laughable.

Both of Stacy's 75 yard games came against the #25 and #32 rush defense. For 3 days I've been trying to figure out why they think this guy is any good.

Or why AP, Lynch, etc can't hold his jock. Power RBs aren't an issue.

IMO it would be a shifty scat RB that might hurt us. Ellington had some success for example

exactly what i was thinking. home-run hitters seem to match up best against our defense. i think spiller had the most success against us this season. correct me if i'm wrong.

Yep, speed not power against this front.

Spiller and Ellington I think did the best.

Wait, so you want to compare the QB's, call out Cam for having a higher INT and sack count for playing one less game?  How about Bradford's higher yardage and TD totals?  It swings both ways genius, you can't skew the numbers only to favor your argument.  Then again, I guess you can.  Do the TD's include the rushing TD's or only passing TD's?

Putting all your percentages aside, if you were to poll the Rams fanbase on who they would rather have as QB - Cam or Sam, I think we all know what the overwhelming choice would be.

Actually, you have no idea what you are talking about,

We lost big to Atlanta and the Cowboys, mostly because of the passing scheme in lieu of a running game approach, that created quick 3 and outs, putting huge pressure on our defense.  I know you guys havn't noticed, but we have a running game now, where we didn't for Dallas and Atlanta, and the RB is Zac Stacy....Stacy has about a 5.0 run average per attempt, and 3 yards per attempt AFTER contact. Dude is little bowling ball, because he is of short stature, and gets lower than the defender, and pushes the pile forward.....We had NO running game in the two above often mentioned blowouts...As always, this opens the passing game, which Bradford was brilliantly efficient last game..3 TD's, No Ints..135 Passer rating

Our Defense was supposed to be a 10 Defense this year, and hasn't happened....Missed Mikell and Dunbar, from the previous year..Have Dunbar back and a couple of rookies that have played undisciplined against the run..The rookies are getting better every game, and Dunbar is back..Expect the the run defense to be significantly better...

IE, expect the Rams to be a handful this weekend.

You do realize Stacy was only somewhat good when he got matched up against horrible run defenses....

Carolina isn't one of those pooty run defenses.....ask the top tier power RBs they have shut down.

Wishful thinking. Anything can happen in the NFL sure....but nothing supports that type logic right now.

Bradford doing his lame dink and dunk could be an issue but that is about it....and your DE on our RT. That's about it
