What Ram fans are saying

Rams fans in this thread need to STFU and get lost. You are a baseball city.

If the Panthers win Sunday, we will never hear from you again.

If the Rams win Sunday, your trolling will last 3 posts before a moderator bans you and we will never hear from you again.

Panthers a 5.5 favorite for a reason and if the Rams defense doesn't make big plays the Panthers are going to win. Period.

why are you acting like a child

Crap. I'm going to Miami for our game on Nov. 24. Better bring the sunblock AND an umbrella.

Did it seem like it would be easy to get a scalped ticket outside the stadium when you went?

Miami at the end of November will be really nice. I'm going with a big group. Come link up with us.

We scored 16 points in the second half and if I recall Cam completed nearly 60% in the second half.

Given the ball inside the opponents 30 yard line twice in the game....and managed FG's on both of those drives.

One of the drives was 7 plays for 7 yards and a FG.

Enough said.

But, it was not just Cam in that game....FAR from it.

OL looked like they were on roller-skates.....play calling was very iffy....dropped passes killed us....but, Cam was holding the ball too long and missed quite a few opportunities (with bad passes and interceptions).  It was the perfect storm on offense....they were just out of synch all day.

Loved how Cam went back to practice and was talking about focus and the little things....fixing those "little things" is what great QB's do.  Then, he went out and looked spectacular against the Vikings....hopefully a sign of many more great games this year.

This team has a great opportunity to get ot .500 and stay in the playoff picture.....Sunday will tell us if they have the mental make-up to get it done.

My bet is that they DO.

This is a microcosm of the failed logic that permeates this board to criticize Cam or the offense.

You guys cherry pick certain failures as your evidence of overall lack of success.

It is not guaranteed in the NFL that short fields should result in TDs.

But regardless those weren't the only two drives that the team had in the second half.  We also had drives of 80 and 60 yards that also resulted in points.  You guys disregard that, just to point out the short field situations and say "Enough said."

Well no, that isn't enough said.  Let's say we converted those two possessions into TDs, but were not able to have those long drives that also resulted in points.  Well, then we would have only scored 14 points in the second half and lost by 3 and not 1.

You are basically saying, "well if we never got stopped on offense, we would have won"  Well no poo.  That isn't how it works.  But you disregard that to focus on the drives that weren't successful in order to highlight what you think is an offensive shortcoming.

The standard that has been set by you guys for Cam, is that 16 points in a half, completing 60% of your passes, having a TD pass, and not having any turnovers, and scoring on 4 of 5 possessions is not a good enough half for you.

As a matter of fact, you have described that line as "atrocious" and "terrible".

Do you not see the completely failed logic behind that?  Who would honestly believe that that is "atrocious" or "terrible?"

You can say we missed some opportunitites in the second half, and I would agree with you.  But to play off the second half as terrible by Cam is silly.  It bears repeating, we scored on 4 of our 5 possessions in the second half.

Not good enough.  SMH.  Some of you guys will never be satisfied.

Rams are 2-0 without finnegan who if you watched play this year was who every team targeted. As well as our new RB stacy who has also led to us being 2-0 in his 2 starts and Bradford is statistically in the top 10 in QBs this season with only 3 picks and 13 TD's (1 behind brees) a QB rating of 90...

Lets actually compare Newton and Bradford for a minute shall we.....

TD's Bradford = 13 Newton = 9

Int     Bradford = 3   Newton = 5

Yards Bradford = 1432  Newton = 1127

Completion %  Bradford = 59.8 Newton = 60.2

QB Rating Bradford = 90.7   Newton = 89.4

Sacked Bradford = 13      Newton = 16

So please o please tell me how Cam has been so much better this year? (less games and less attempts, yet more interceptions and sacks?

Um how is your run game going over there?   When you have a team with a good run game, your QB's passing yards will be less compared to a team that has no run game and has to pass the ball alot to even have a chance to win games.  Now add Cams running yards and running TD's....
