That said, it's abundantly clear that the coaching staff's preseason plans to showcase Austin's explosiveness and versatility have long since been ditched.

One of the least effective receivers in the NFL thus far, Austin has dropped seven passes and forced just two missed tackles  while averaging a scant 6.03 yards on 28 offensive touches.

I just watched their game last week and I cant tell you how many times both the Texans AND the refs gave St Louis momentum in the first half. The second half , meh, def and st's came up with 7 a piece on a dumb plays by both Texans.

Wow the refs are going to have to get involved often and early for them to stop the Panthers. We would have to beat ourselves to lose to this team. Bradford was hardly pressured and still was abysmal. Lol they think there rb is gonna run through our front 7.

Concerning their O:

With how Tavon's looked this season, he's honestly an AE for them at this point in his career.  He's their slot guy but with Bradford trusting in Pettis and Givens the most, I'd say we'll be able to contain em'.  Cook is good but with the recent changes made to their O, they aren't using him as much than at the year's start.  Also, I don't think the deadly Stacy-Pead-Richardson trio will be much of an issue.  I'd be disappointed in our D if we don't slaughter them.  This is a young and vulnerable offensive group with a mediocre offensive mind in charge.

On D...

My concerns are their secondary.  One of my fave players coming out of this past is on their D and playing very well: Trumaine Johnson

Janoris and Finnegan are the primary CBs.  One of my other fave guys who dropped for really no big reason (TJMD) is injured badly which is a bummer.

This will be a good match-up to see how much Ginn and LaFell can step it up.  They have a bad run-D so we'll be able to set up some good PA opportunities.  Their line ain't nothing.  Overrated.

BTW everyone seems to be forgetting we have the strongest leg in the NFL at kicker and basically get an easy 3 points if we pass the 50......(As many remember last year vs the dolphins where Legatron attempted a 66 yarder and hit the net, but was a tad left of the uprights.

our boy hasn't missed yet this year, and has 22 TB on 23 KO.  I'd say K is a push.  Argue hypotheticals all day if you want, but you can't dispute perfection.

Gano has also had hit a 59er in the NFL. Made a 67 in high school, penalty wiped it out

Dude has a canon for a leg

If the offense was atrocious for not scoring a lot TD on a short field, what do you call it when they score a TD with a long field? Brilliant? Amazing?

I know the point you guys are trying to make, but it is equally absurd to use two drives to back up an argument that the offense was "atrocious"

Although it is true it wasnt their best showing, but we were up 6 with 90 seconds to go against a rookie QB with no timeouts. If you can't hold that you don't deserve to win.

Well lets not forget that the refs cheated us out of the game with the BS PI on Keuchly. The Bills called the play to try and get the penalty because they aren't actually good enough to make the plays themselves.
