Dude, you half stepped a little bit, (but I still gave you pie...j/k):

Keenan Allen is better than LaFell right now.

We've missed out on some pretty good receivers, including Allen, and Justin Blackmon (no disrespect to Luke), Josh Gordon T.Y. Hilton, Denarius Moore...even UDFAs like Kenbrell Thompkins and Marlon Brown and...

Sigh i wish we had a 2010 pick and drafted demaryius

Every receiver I ever was rooting for to get drafted didn't, who would have definitely helped. Rae cursed us with the WR position or something. Steve wasn't supposed to turn out how he did. I agree, we need a consultant

Nobody is comparing the two. It was said after our 2nd round selection the team packed it up for the night only to come back the next day and draft....Edmund!!

My point is that we spent enough time with Keenan Allen to know that he may have worthy of trading back into the 3rd to take him. If he continues to play the way he has the past two weeks it should concern every fan that we passed on a potential #1 wr that was right in our own backyard.

Anybody who's second guessing trading what would probably have involved at least next year's 2nd rounder if not more to go get a WR with major question marks needs their head examined.

Even taking him in the 3rd was a risk. San Diego looks to have won that gamble so far.

We didn't even have that pick.  That pick ended up being Terrence Williams going to the Cowboys.  Not having that 3rd, we missed out on T-Will, Allen, Goodwin, and Wheaton at WR.  Thank Hurney but I wouldn't get upset.

Talk about a really solid 3rd rounder.  People seem to be talking about Allen a lot given his primetime performance and looks to be a good pick but Williams has looked just as stout thus far for the Cowboys.

Terrance Williams, Robert Woods, Keenan Allen and Nuke seem to be the solid high round picks from the draft (so far)

But ask most here and they will tell you it was a weak wr class

Well there was no for sure fire stud a la Blackmon, Green, or Megatron but a solid amount of guys who had that WR1-2 potential.  Those 4 I mentioned + Marlon Brown and Kembrell are looking like solid contributors thus far but it's early to make any definitives.

I agree with whoever said we just weren't in play to take a WR early given our draft board.  We apparently coveted KK who I think has the potential to be a straight up manhandlin' machine in this league so I'm cool with how things went.

As long as we corral good offensive talent on the line and at WR this coming offseason, I'm easy.

For one putting Blackmon in the same sentence with Green and Johnson is ridiculous. For two, you're going to lose most people with this sentiment. The Panthers could have the 32nd overall pick and if the player in question isn't a HoF lock most Huddlers are going to go "WELL HERP DIDDLY DERP I JUST DONT SEE WHY EVERYBODY LIKES THIS GUY OVUUUUHRAAYYYTED NOW LETS TAKE A LOOK AT THIS GUARD RIGHT HERE"
