Let's talk about YAC, or Yards After Catch, aka RG3's bff.

Seattle: 619

Carolina: 354

right, those deadly receivers in seattle are making wilson look good.

have you ever watched him play or do you base everything off of nitpicked statistics? did you not see him absolutely embarass our defense?

Can I ask a question? Why does the luck hate need to stop, but when RGIII, Wilson, or Kaepernick gets bashed nobody says a word?

And it is not just here. Go to Washington, San Fran, or Seattle's message board and it is the exact same thing. The Cam, RGIII, Wilson, or Kapernick is bashed and no one says anything.

Yet if anyone mentions the QB that almost led the league in turnover's last year and whose rating was slightly higher than Weedon's it is "don't put down luck just to promote newton (or wilson, or rgiii, or kaep).

Why is he held in such high regard that no one should question him? Why is he beyond reproach?

Dude, you're not the only one who notice that and the reason is way beyond football. And I'm sure anybody would be banned if they mention it. It's like those don't ask don't tell policy.

Psssst, it's a race thing, you're supposed to pretend it doesn't exist. And pretend you're just talking about football.

Hey, you didn't hear that from me.

Since you wanna keep comparing Brussel Sprout to Cam, here are their stats through 22 games.

Wilson:

5,010 yards, 38 td, 20 turnovers

Newton:

6,391 yards, 42 TD, 28 turnovers

And Cam royally sucked the first 6 weeks last season. But he was money the 2nd half, and a top 3 QB. Unless your boy Brussels turns into Peyton those gaps will grow rapidly down the stretch.

I saw him run around and chuck the ball in the air and his WRs make BS circus catches.

For all the QB bashing going on its kinda funny that they all have relatively similar stats in 2013.

Its interesting that Cam has thrown the most TDs with 1 fewer game played.

And while we passed on Keenan Allen lets remember Donald LaFell had over 100 yards and a TD this weekend also.

3 Tds this year so far. Wonder if he gets resigned.

Cam Newton: 11 TDs, 225 passing ypg, 60.8%, 5 INTs, 1 Fumble (5 games)

Andrew Luck: 9 TDs, 224 passing ypg, 61.8%, 3 INTs, 2 Fumbles (6 games)

Russell Wilson: 8 TDs, 209 passing ypg, 61.4%, 4 INTs, 5 Fumbles (6 games)

Colin Kaepernick: 8 TDs, 203 passing ypg, 55.9%, 5 INTs, 5 Fumbles (6 games)

Robert Griffin: 6 TDs, 289* passing ypg, 59.8%, 5 INTs, 6 Fumbles (5 games)

So even with that god-awful Cardinals game where the entire offense decided to have a meltdown (despite Cam playing flawlessly the first half) and completely atypical game manager-esque Seahawks game--which heavily skews his passing yards with this few games--Cam is at the top.  You could also make an argument for Luck.

*Garbage Time Alert

Cam & Luck are at the top of that group this year. Luck has a slight edge thus far.

Wilson isn't far behind.

Colin and Robert are who we thought they were. If ESPN wanna crown em, crown em

The spat with KK aside...

If luck is a game manager, how did he beat Cams rookie yardage record? Seems like you have to be able to throw to beat out Marino and Cam.

The answer to your question is Luck had 110 more pass attempts his rookie year than Cam had in his.

Ok.... I still think my point is valid. KingTroll said Luck cant throw and just hands the ball off. I never said his rookie season was more impressive than Cams, just that the guy can obviously throw.
