Blitzing

D wasn't an issue against the Cards. Game just snowballed at the end bc of our lack of O

If we had blitzed more or at all, that would've taken Palmer out of the little rythm he had and created errand throws that turned into interceptions, created fumbles, just simply swung the momentum in our favor. They have a statue for a QB and we don't blitz. and we have a gazell for a QB and they blitz like crazy, and get the W.

Why didn't we blitz against the Bills

A rookie QB

That made no sense and infuriated me. You look back at these losses aside from Seattle and have to ask what was the coaches doing after half-time. Absolutely no adjustments

don't forget Fox did this too.

Sacked him a couple times and picked him off three times, if the offense capitalized early we could have put then down quick

85 Bears would give up points if all their O did was shoot themselves in the foot all game. Our team isn't built to bring the blitz all game either.

Going into the 4th Q...we had repeatedly pressured Palmer, generated 3 turnovers, allowed only 10 pts.....and we're losing.

D was great that game.....should of been a blowout going into the 4th

I'm not saying that the defense was at fault for the lost, although they were, along with the offense and special teams. This is a team sport. Yes the offense was the culprit and an easy place to point the finger to but the offense couldn't take advantage of the opportunities the defense gave them at any point in the game, they just couldn't do more. I do believe that the defense could have done more and simply didn't. Our defensive coaches should've seized the opportunity to carry the team to what would've been an easy victory. Palmer can run, safety blitz one play, LB blitz another play....two sacks, or a fumble, or an interception or what have you, could've lifted us up. Lets not be so quick to point the finger and single one group out. This is a team effort.
