since Dwan has been out, Star has been lining up at the 3 tech while Cole has been at the 1. this might be his reason for struggling. of course, when KK is in he slides back to the 1 tech/ NT.

the coaches do a good job of making the guys ready for play, imo. they just haven't been managed well on game day, esp end of games.

 

i really do hope we've turned a corner. several very reputable sites have us grading out well consistently and we've done this for a while. it's just the whole finishing thing that we've screwed the pooch on.

I'm telling you guys, it is a serious issue that is being a overlooked by this fanbase. Fua is getting more and more snaps each week and it is apparent out on the field. I don't know how Rivera is so mind numbingly stupid that he can't connect the dots with Fua on field=big runs given up but he's made it quite clear he has some sort of weird connection to him. Gettleman, if he is worthi his salt at all, HAS to intervene. He HAS to CUT Sione Fua, or Fua is going to get more and more snaps regardless of how it hurts us. Rivera can't help but play him. I said it yesterday, Ron is going to milk the Dwan injury as long as it is a threat to FUa getting a jersey and out onto the field. There is some kind of weird non-performance related connection between the two and it has got to stop because it is killing us. No, I don't think there is some weird bromance or anything, but I think Ron loves Sione's "give it all and never quit herp diddly derp!" and it is absolutely destroying us.

Ya I have noticed that too, wonder if that's factored into the poor grade. Not playing the 3 tech as well as 1 tech

I agree about Fua he is getting more and more playing time, and all the big runs normally happen right where he is. Rivera is a biased joke of head coach and i cant help but think crap like this is gonna cost us another game i just can see it.
