no, Rivera has been and always will be a reactionary coach. every game folllowing a game where he made mistakes, he over corrects in the next game.

Nah, a couple of wins against bad teams hasn't convinced me he's changed at all.  Put up a winning record for the first time in your head coaching career, hell even a MID SEASON winning record, then we can talk.

I think half of it is, he's desperate to keep his job.  The other half (I'm hoping) is he realizes the aggressive way is the best way in the NFL nowadays.  Especially with this defense we have.  You score points early and then let your defense make plays/hold them.  If they are behind, it forces them to pass, and we just happen to have a decent pass rush.   Putting up FG's all game allows the opposing team to stick with their game plan.
