Ahhhh, did you miss me?  I never claimed to be an expert on your QB or his contributions to the city of CLT.  I was impressed but frankly, I am not overly concerned with how much he gives to whom.  Nor do I have the time or interest to view "his every press conference".

 

All I said, and I stand by that, is he comes across as (unjustifiably) arrogant and childish, in my own opinion and is not someone I would want as the "leader" of my team or face of my franchise.  Next you'll be defending the fact that he's an admitted Falcon fan, or did I take that out of context too?

You know, I came over here to talk football, found a couple of interesting topics and expressed my opinion on them because, after all, that's all this place, or any other such forum, is, a lot of opinion.  I have never said your team was bad, never said you great QB couldn't play, simply expressed an opinion as to why I wouldn't want him on my team.  As I said previously, it seems opinions here are only welcome if they are the popular ones.

 

I hope you all enjoy the game on Sunday.  I hope no one from either side is injured.  And, in what I feel is an unlikely event, if the Panthers win I'll drop by to congratulate you.

If you read around here we actually have a high tolerance for dissenting views, but a low tolerance for uneducated, misguided views, based on little to no evidence other than "I heard it on TV".

ASHBURN, Va. -- Washington Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III admitted Wednesday there will be times he tries to draw a penalty on players as he runs out of bounds.

 

That wasn't how he drew two personal fouls on Dallas Cowboys safety Barry Church on Sunday. And the tactic didn't work against the Detroit Lions. But it's one he might still employ.

Griffin also knows there are times when defensive players won't slow down just because the quarterback appears to be, thinking that perhaps he's pulling the equivalent of a hesitation move in basketball.

"There will be situations, and that's why guys don't want to pull up," Griffin said. "It's happened in the past withMike Vick or someone like that who has run to the sidelines, stopped and then gotten 20 more yards because the guy runs out of bounds trying not to hit the quarterback."
