Why are people getting excited over Cam's play today?

And yet many people were predicting this "bad team" to which you refer above were going to beat the Panthers.

But they didn't.

WEIRD.

Says a lot for the team then. And it made for an enjoyable Sunday for a change. Does nothing to make me think Cam can get it done in the clutch.

Once he does, feel free to troll me, harass me on Twitter, ban me, whatever. Until then, let's not pretend that what I'm talking about doesn't exist.

LOL

Cam either threw 1 or 0 passes on that last drive against Seattle, can't remember which one. It was all DeAngelo.

No, Can threw about 5 passes on that drive, all completions.

Get back to me after ONE close win where he win because of Cam.

Just so you can shut up. First year; 2011 against the Jags. It's fourth Q with 4:26 to go and we are down by two points. 16yd pass from Cam to Olsen. We go on to win the game.

The Carolina panthers been able to blow a few teams out every year, not one person has said they can't. The team's problem remains close games. Get back to me after ONE close win. Until then, enjoy these wins in the moment, but know that this season is still another wasted year until this can be counted on the clutch. It's not impossible, but a 35-10 win over a bad team does absolutely nothing to allay any fear about the Carolina panthers inability to win close games that matter.

Your mistake was focusing on Cam so I fixed it for you.  This team has an inability to win close games.  Not just Cam. Yea, Cam has caused problems in several close losses, he is the qb, so much of the attention focuses on him.  But a fumble by a normally dependable rb hurt us against Seattle.  Defensive lapses on the last drive killed us against Buffalo.  And last year a myriad of issues killed us in several close games.

So whether or not you can win a tight game or not is your grading criteria on what makes a hall of fame quarterback or not?

Note to self, call Goodell and tell him to put Jake Delhomme in the hall of fame.

At the end of the day football is a team game. Cam didn't lose us the game against Arizona and he didn't win the game today against the Vikings. The Panthers lost to Arizona and the Panthers beat the Vikings.

Get over yourself already.
