It's one thing to criticize Can for having a bad game. It's another to talk about trading him and his work ethic.

 

Especially if it's kept in context with how the rest of the team is playing and not just him alone.

Cam also.played great today just taking what the defense gave him. I don't think he forced more than maybe two throws all game and one if those was batted down.

He is at his best when he tries to do less, not more. He is still learning. He still has an amazingly high ceiling.

But he will still have more poo games this season. We still have to win those

I'll chime in.  Yep I was hard on him last week.  He played fantastic today and I couldn't be happier!  I WANT Cam to do well.  I want the Panthers to win.  But if a player has a bad game or if he hasn't played up to his expectation he going to get criticized.  Hell look at a couple articles in the Charlotte Observer questioning whether he's the long term solution and that he's running out of chances.  He came back after a terrible game last week and played awesome today.  That's what I expect ever game.  Here's to hoping he can build off this win and keep it up.

 

But you cannot sit here and tell some of us we can't criticize Cam.  Sorry but if you play like shyte you gonna get criticized.  If you play well than you are going to get praised....

Says the *@#* was trying to sell Geno Smith over Cam Newton last week, based off one game. And if you would have watched enough Jet games, you would have known Geno Smith sucked (or at best, wasn't there yet) SMH

 

The bottom line is, anyone that watches or knows football (as Zod illustrated earlier in this thread, speaking about line play and play calling) knows Cam is the real deal, and that many times his fortunes are determined by his team and coaching. 

 

So many of you, seem to miss that; which is why many are declared "haters".

I just don't understand why it's not okay to praise Cam for having a good game and call out his flaws during a bad game...Why is that bad?? He plays good and bad..no other players are exempt for critique...why Cam? 

 

Because pointing out what is wrong with Cam is all some of you do.

 

If it's kept in context with how the other players are playing then one won't see the problem. But when it's all about what's wrong with Cam and the rest of the team suck even more, then there is a problem.

one good game aye.............clearly anyone who believes this his only good game doesn't watch football and isn't a fan of the team just another troll. he's was playing good up until last week,other then that he has improved.......for you guys who complain about his foot work have you not seen the improvement in that department and he doesn't stare down receivers he's spreading the ball quite well and took the checkdowns today

Because he is the most important piece on our Offense and his flaws will become more evident. My only beef with Cam is that he is not a good leader. He is an amazing Athlete that can put numbers but when is about leading like other young QB's do he doesn't do well.
