And if you're watching the Saints game that is what Newton can not and will never do.

Yeah, cause the Panthers would blow the lead as they've done numerous times when Cam made a 4th quarter Td/comeback, for the defense to inexplicably blow it.

Brady was just fortunate enough today, to leave no time on the clock for Drew Brees.

PS: It's obvious you have some issues.

franchise QB?

not sold.. long way to go in that regard.

He sure does look pretty when his head is screwed on straight though.  Today was the most complete game we have seen in three seasons by far.

This was against the second weakest team we have faced but I think this team was quite a few rungs up from the Giants squad.

I loved the screen game and the commitment to the run game.. gotta be able to do both of those efficiently if we keep Cam long term.

Hilarious that after one game the leader-guy of this board wanted to call out all the people who have voiced their lack of utter infatuation with Cam.  As if one game wipes out all of the previous ineptitude and inconsistency he has shown.  The mentality here remains Cam first I guess.  No worries.  As long as we win, I don't care.

I guess since Cam is so great regardless, this win is because of the coaches, Oline, and open receivers not dropping balls.  Great job guys.  Keep it up!!

To me it looks like Cam has responded to his name being drug through the muck this week.  That is the most positive thing I have seen to date.

So do I let him win me over again?  Can I trust it?  1st time shame on him.  2nd time shame on me.  Do I dare give it a third go??

I think I'm just gonna sit back, enjoy a win, and proceed with a wait and see attitude.

....and I don't give a f-ck if you don't like it

After ONE game?  ONE GAME?  Cam has had numerous good games.  This is his second great game this year.  He's made many, many in previous years.  He now holds records.

Also, maybe this doesn't apply to you, but there were numerous threads about how other young QBs were better than Cam (like geno smith wtf), or that cam should be traded, or wasn't good, etc... so the idea that it's "lack of utter infatuation" that is getting called out here is HILARIOUS... because it's the bile that is being called out.  If you don't fit that category, it wasn't directed at you.

So then you won't be offering a hypothetical trade scenario thread involving Cam, or endless shitposting today?

he should be traded ( i guess that makes me "bile")

if you can get a top 5 pick for him right now you take it if you are smart

He has never shown one shred of being able to repeat these solid efforts.  Pretty as they are.. how often have they ever helped us win anything meaningful?

i guess everyone here thinks (yet again) that this is the beginning of the long run of solid execution that at this point has yet to materialize.

good luck with that... I hope you guys are right.
