Yes the offense outperformed the defense for the past two seasons.

However, the fact that they had not shown up for two seasons does NOT mean they should be more rested now.

 

"outperformed" carry this team, same difference no matter how you spin it.

 

 

I am not surprised by your attitude. I remember many of you screaming at your Offense for not doing enough when the Defense was squandering team's points. Its' no wonder now that the Defense is playing well, they are getting the endless praises and sympathy.

Steve's touchdown today was the 65th of his career, tying him with guys such as Michael Irvin, Charlie Joiner, Bobby Mitchell, Sterling Sharpe, and a few others.

 

Still wish we would've tried to give him another on that drive in the middle of the 4th.

You are missing my point. I agree that it is about damned time the defense stepped up and was a dominant force...they took about 2 years off.

But, that fact does not mean that they should be rested.

I know that I'm a homer but for some reason I see the Panthers turning things around today .....with the Rams, Bucs and Falclowns on the horizon , 4 straight wins would put the Cats right back on track.......no Kansas City Redux today.
