Heart-breaking story involving AP

Adrian wasn't even man enough to be by his son's side as he passed away, then just hours after he died Adrian has proclaimed he will play Sunday.

That is all I ever need to know about the kind of "man" Adrian is. He is clearly a a chip off the old block.

Well put....I did not look at it that way until now. If my son was in the hospital , I would never leave his side. Peterson is a POS

Apparently lol

Don't pull the, "I'm a dumbass" defense.  Did I continuously say I cared about the child or no?

Maybe if Adrian is lucky, someone can beat his ass Sunday about the face and neck and when he is on his deathbed he can die alone save his mother.

Adrian Peterson is a POS, and proved it today.

My prayers are directed ONLY at his child and those that loved him.

Now, all you lemmings get ready for the next cliff because the NFL hype machine will have you all crying in your Sunday easy-chairs during pre-game, during game and post-game about AP's undieing love he had for his recently discovered child that he left to die because, "Gotta get my ass back to practice, good luck little man".

there are like 800,000 things wrong with this statement but i just realized this thread will go places it was never meant to go, so on second thought we'll leave that one alone

To say that you are better than Adrian or would have acted "better" in the same situation that he was in is ridiculous. None of you know the kind of stress that he was and is going through. Maybe he made a wrong decision on what to do, maybe not. Either way, nobody on this message board should act like they would have done anything differently because nobody on this message board has been in the same situation and never will. You cannot even fathom the amount of stress that he was (and still is) fighting through.

As for if he plays against the Panthers, everyone has different coping mechanisms. Some people would prefer to sit and sulk alone. Some people would run and work out to release the pain and anger. Adrian may just want to run a football and perform his job to the best of his ability. I have no idea what AD is going through right now and hope I never will. For this reason, I'm not going to make a judgement on his decisions.

Can I be neutral to all others?  Less positive?

For once, can I NOT do the right thing when something is wrong in my sight and hope other form their own opinions?

I see your point, do you see mine?

bottom line is we have no idea about any of this. You can try and connect the dots but with something as serious as a murder of a child you gotta give him the benefit of the doubt right now. some of it does seem iffy to me.

but when we are talking about an incident as gruesome and gut wrenching as this making bombastic statements that ap is a POS just seams completely over the top and premature. we are sitting at our computers reading stories that the media has given us, the same media you said lied to create a false image of AP. you see the irony?

Child you fathered is beaten to the point of death.

You fly out to see him in a far away city and you see him in IC.

The powers-that-be tell you he is not going to live.

You get on a plane to go back to practice for a GAME that will be held in 3 days.

You GD tweet your condolences and thank you's.

I see plenty of irony.

And trust me, you are one of my only friends on here Rumgone, if this pisses you off then I have no friends here but I will not back off of this.  AP is not a man.  If POS makes you mad then I will rephrase it, he is not a man.  No excuse for this type of behavior.

I would hope that if I had a father, and he knew I was dieing, he would stay by my side as I passed into oblivion especially if I were 2 years old rather than returning to practice of any sort.
