How shitty are we at evaluating talent if it took us this long to decide Lester was the future/good?

 

I mean, I loved the pic and his ability in run-support. But damn.

Updated Today: Olsen practicing. Lester and Edwards still not.

Lets wait to see who plays and who doesn't.  Guys miss practice for a number of reasons.  In any case we need guys to step up and this gives backups the chance to get starting experience.  Hopefully we turn things around this week and have an offense that looks like an NFL offense. It has to be demoralizing to the defense to bust their bust every series while the offense keeps putting them in bad situations and blows opportunities when the defense creates a turnover.

Ron is going to keep Dwan sidelined as long as he's a threat to keep Fua without a jersey.

I don't expect Edwards to play. Mikell might be the better choice over Lester this weekend anyway, given his run-stopping prowess. With Fua on the line and AP in the backfield, we're going to need Mikell...On any other Sunday, though, I would hope Lester is healthy given his recent performance.
