PFF- Panthers have #8 ranked oline after Q1 of season

Keep in mind our OL has to block for a much longer period of time due to Shula's slowest developing pass play calls in the league.

And for a QB that takes way to long to go through his progressions. The two together (long developing plays and a QB who takes too long) is a big issue.

It also helps that Cam evades at least 4 sacks per game. Insert a slow pocket passing QB into our offensive scheme and our line would drop into the bottom 8.

Also the fact that Chris Scott graded so terribly makes me wonder how Bell isn't worse. His nick name should be Lazy Susan.

And that he causes a few sacks by holding into the ball way too long sometimes

One thing it does is adjusts the sack numbers for the total number of passing plays as well as plays where sacks are more or less likely. But yeah they suck too.

yeah I know just my feeling from watching them play they are even worse in pass blocking, which isn't to say anything good about our O-Line...
