Who do you think is the funniest actor to you?

I was having this conversation with my friends earlier and my answer my Danny McBride. To me he is the funniest actor out right now. All his roles are pure gold. I don't think I've seen a movie or tv show with him in it and been disappointed. East bound and down, tropic thunder, Pineapple Express, your highness, this is the end.

So what do you think? Who is the actor that has a direct line to your funny bone?

Keanu Reeves. I recently saw his promo talking about the new movie he wrote and directed called, "Man of Tai Chi." I realized that he's slowly slipping into a deep insanity, and as he does he's becoming more and more like the meme of himself. It's hilarious! And BTW, Danny McBride has never done or said a single thing that has made me laugh, think about laughing, or devote mental energy to anything other than figuring out what it is about him people find amusing. His "overly boorish loudmouth who acts tough and boasts about stuff when really he is just mediocre to below average at the skills he boasts about" character was trite in Foot Fist Way, and lost steam from there. Sorry. Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using CarolinaHuddle mobile app

Danny Mcbride just has a way to say a normal word in his way and it sounds funny.

I was listening to a podcast with Seth Rogan and he was talking about how brilliant Danny Mcbride was on set for "This Is the End".

They all would roll on the ground whenever Danny cussed out Jonah Hill. Also spoke to about how he prepares a certain bit each day to get himself into character..intersting stuff.

To me, he makes Pineapple Express the movie it is.

Danny McBride isn't funny at all to me.

I dunno about actor, but there are some actors who have only been in good, funny movies. I really like Seth Rogen, Michael Cera (I know I'll catch flack over that), Jason Segel, and Christopher Mintz-Plasse (McLovin is the single greatest comedic character of the past decade or so, hands down) amongst others.

Robert Sheehan in Misfits might be the funniest TV character that I can remember, because the dude just had the right way of acting that just made everything a comic relief, even in serious times.

Funniest actor for me HAS to be Russell Brand though. I've only seen him in 2 or 3 movies, but he has the greatest ability to just act strange and so... Him. It just works and I find it hilarious.

    • I don't care about offensive production for a team that literally only threw to him and the running back. I care about what I see on film:   Dude cannot separate on his own against talented LBs/S and had to be schemed open; his route running is below average; while pretty athletic, he doesn't have elite athleticism or speed; his blocking form has quite a few red flags (dude should be a dominant run blocker for his size). He was talented enough to get open in college against a slower LB/S; that won't be the case in the NFL. Not to mention, the dude pretty much was nonexistent until this year for Penn St. If I am drafting a TE in the top 10, choosing a 5th year senior that didn't do anything until his last season should be pretty alarming. Not saying he is going to be a bad player - I think he will be a solid short/intermediate possession TE in the NFL. I just don't understand the logic of taking him top 10
    • No one is arguing where we were on the season.  After the benching Bryce was one of the top deep ball passers in the league.  It's a skillset he has just shown he is capable of doing.  I believe he led the league in week 12 and was one of the top ones for that final quarter.  Dance around the topic and argue the stats all you want, I'm just going by what I saw on TV and read about.   https://x.com/PattonAnalytics/status/1877044086709854343 https://www.si.com/nfl/panthers/news/bryce-young-best-against-pressure-throwing-deep Hey it surprised me as well, but I'm not going to hide my head in the sand and try to ignore what is clearly right in front of me.  People have a hard time admitting their original thought may have been wrong.  That's just the world we live in.  We will see if Young can keep it up next year or not, but signs are point to DC running his offense regardless of who is QB.
    • You are right, but as of late there has been more rookie TEs making immediate impact on teams. McBride, Laporta, Kincaid and obv Bowers.  My true opinion is the team has so many holes they can go multiple directions including Safety. So it just comes down to out of all the talent in the draft who will make the immediate impact. Wr? TE? LB?
