I wish him luck. It wasn't his fault we drafted him and tried to turn him into a WR. If that was the only chance I had to make a nfl roster, I would have did the same. Hope he catches on somewhere

 

Yep, hindsight being 20/20, his best bet was probably going straight to the CFL as a QB.  Now he's probably too far removed from playing QB for that to be an option.

Well the Panthers are a mess, but that is far from the reason.

Yes, because way overdrafting the guy and trying to change his position was 100% on Armanti, right?  If you wanna be mad, be mad at Marty Hurney.  It'd be a different story if Armanti didn't work hard and didn't try, but there was never any indication of that being the case.  Marty gambled and it blew up in his face.  He did that fairly often and that's why he's no longer in an NFL front office.
