The move doesn't make much sense to me. Armanti Edwards has been a horrible player for the Panthers since his arrival yet they kept him up until now. I will assume he is the worst player on the team and we have a need somewhere else.

But he's been the worst player on the team and we've had plenty of needs elsewhere the past 3-4 years.

As bad as AE is.....we have worse. Their positions are just even thinner

I'm glad GMan is not accepting crappy players. If AE couldn't get on the field with this sorry ass WR corp then he is no good.

will get rid of Hurney's boys. Not just the crappy ones.

Anger will be directed toward him this offseason. When he finally can get rid of RR a lot more stuff should happen.

I am not a DG fan....never have been.

I think DG will be the end of Newton. Not right away but he will bring in a traditional coach who believes in playing ball his old school way.....Newton doesn't fit that. Will cause him to struggle. Need a new school and open mind willing to go down I chartered roads for Newton to succeed. RR IMO was open to it....which was good. RR while having flaws got handcuffed with a bad GM in Hurney in created too many holes and then GMan had no interest.

Gettlemen is simply slowly getting his ball rolling. RR had to have bodies to start the year. Nothing more.

The Panthers staff has a major talent evaluation problem. A. Edwards was MVP in camp while Melvin White didn’t get a jersey and Robert Lester wasn’t even in the 53 man roster for the first 2 weeks. The Panthers staff doesn’t even know who their best 53 guys are.

Melvin White and Lester weren't competing against Edwards for roster spots. They were competing against the other dbs.
