Yep, we can. I would argue that ATL and the Bucs are worse off than we are. Being that we are technically in 2nd place, and if we could split when we play the Saints, there would be a great possibility of winning the NFCS.

I'll have what you're having.  Panthers might get swept in the division this year.  With the back half of the schedule containing all the games against divisional opponents, I can't see the players making a third late season rally around a coach that is already dead in the water.

Our chances are better getting the wildcard than we are getting the division. The Saints will have to start losing and we would have to start winning to catch up. Even if we sweep the Saints, they can still win the division because they would be far ahead of us.

 

Kinda of reminds me of the Raiders sweeping the AFC West a few years ago but still lost it because they didn't have enough total wins.

At this point .. it's not good enough.  We at the very minimum should be 2-2 at this point.  The fact that we aren't leads me to believe our inconsistency will continue.

Rather have that good draft pick then another bust season with no playoffs and Rivera stays because of his coaching epiphany in December. Not the right attitude, I know. But Rivera is consistent at being 7-9 and not making playoffs. Our team is consistent at being inconsistent. Combo doesn't breed much hope.
