What's funny is.....the Bengals and Colts have gone out and got 2 TEs and it works pretty well for them and that was after we did what we did....and of course it worked great for the Pats...

Well if you think about it, how long now have we been completely inept at using TE's? Remember the John Fox days? Ugh.

 

That reminds me...has Cam ever thrown the ball away?

 

They could catch it out of bounds on the sidelines...be more action than they deserve.

 

He did a few times in Arizona. Meh, I'd rather not even think about that game.

I have to wonder if TheRealDeal looks at theses forums anymore and just laughs at the people that mindlessly defend Cam.  

 

I'll answer the question asked earlier

 

No, Cam hasn't gotten better with is footwork or mechanics, seems to have gotten worse with is decision making and is overall not making any individual progress.  Was he a great college QB, apparently so, not so much in the NFL which a lot of people predicted.  

 

I see a lot of people talk about how much upside Cam has, I would like to know just what you have seen to say that?  Can he throw a ball 100 yards?  Yes but he can't hit the broad side of a barn.  People want to talk about a drop here or there, or a fumble, when are you going to say, "damn Cam" how about getting the ball to the player", or "stop throwing it in the dirt", or how about this one, one I use every Sunday "holy poo who was he throwing that two?"

 

Yes there are issues all over this team, but to blame everyone but Cam is retarded, to start he is the QB so blame first goes to the coach then the QB...deal with it.  Real QB will their teams to win and he just doesn't

Makes sense. So next year is his real rookie season, since he is really a senior in college. Btw I am a Cam supporter which is a nut hugger according to some on here.

I wouldn't call it hiding but reading idiots posting idiotic opinions and want to ban anyone that has a differing opinion than their own; kind of drives most level headed, rational fans away from these forums.  It’s kind of like being a republican and reading MSNBC or being a Democrat and reading FOX.  There is no discussion here just a mob mentality and if you aren't with the mob you are a "dumb jackasses that should be banned".  I, and more than likely many like me, lurk all the time then read the crap that is spewed from most of these posters and watching MODs back and support them doesn't make it conductive to to anyone that would like to discuss actual issues with the team or have what is better known as a conversation / discussion.

 

I really don’t know how Mr. Scott, and a few others, is still around to be honest

and some who stayed around and suppressed their cam-hate until there were more who showed up and it was safe to do so.

 

i have a feeling they'll run back into hiding before too long because cam will produce again, inspite of the obstacles that rivera and shula put in his way.

 

it's just a shame that we won't have enough wins to go very far this year, but that's not on cam. QBs don't win games. teams do that.

I honestly do not care about those other 7 QBs. People get caught up in comparisons and rankings when they don't mean poo in the NFL. Our QB could be Brian St Pierre but as long as we win games I'm happy.

And after the 2014 draft Cam will be compared to a bunch more. The media uses the comparisons to try and prove their point that Cam is no good. It will just be more fuel for their fire. Cam is the only one that can extinguish it. And DG is the one who has to put him in a position to do that by drafting some linemen and getting a number 1 receiver from the draft, free agency or trade.
