When we drafted him he was ready in the sense that he had(and still has) the best chance to grow into a superbowl leading quarterback. He needs to be taught the game properly, by someone who not only really understands the nfl game, but can teach it in the way that best resonates with cam. He needs to be taught discipline to his craft, its not just a game at this point, it is a profession. In every profession there is real competition; in sports we find the most dramatic and emotional manifestation of this competition. 

Now as a franchise we need to stop thinking in only this year, we need to start thinking how can we put oursleves on the absolute best course to a Super Bowl. it'll  take education, balls, brains, and manuevering but it is more than possible. We have: Cam Luke Star Olsen Kalil Johnson Short Ginn and Hardy. All of those have seven years or less in the league, the oldest being Olsen, Kalil, and Johnson who's individual positions gives them 3-5 years of quality to high-quality play. We can make moves, serious moves we just need to stop being a whole community and culture of fuging simple-minded pussies
