Cam's Company (put on your thinking caps)

Brooklyn Bully

Here's a fun little game, Huddlers! Let's stop talking about why Cam isn't yet a success here in Carolina. Let's ponder if he would be a success, right now, on another team.

The game is simple. Look at every other team in the NFL. Replace their QB with Cam. He gets their coaches, their WRs and TE, their RBs, their O-Line, their fan atmosphere.

Which teams, IF ANY, would Cam be more of a success with this season? Would anything even make a difference? Would he make any teams worse? Or would it all come out even and he'd play the exact same no matter where he went?

Discuss! And yes, the other coaches would tailor things to suit him if need be.

IMHO, only the Chiefs (Andy Reid used to coach Vick remember) and the Saints (Payton would kill it with Cam) are the teams that would be amazing with Cam.

In terms of short term AND intermediate success

Emphasis on really fubar teams that could use him

By division:

Philly [Debatable but he's more durable than Vick]

Washington [Again debatable, more durable than RG3]

Chicago [i think he's better than Cutler. Maybe, maybe not.]

Minnesota

Tampa Bay

Arizona

St. Louis [still waiting on Bradford to shine]

[i'm not gonna put San Fran since they love forcing game manager QBs but I could see it]

Buffalo [Manuel hasn't looked terrible but he's out right now]

Baltimore [Not sold on big contract Flacco]

Cleveland

Cincinnati [Also not sold on the Red Rifle]

Tennessee [Only because locker is out]

Houston

Jacksonville

None in the AFC West

Pair him with an offensive minded coach or one with even a general clue at all about how to handle a quarterback and he will thrive.

Example: Jim Harbaugh, Pete Carroll, Sean Payton, Mike McCarthy.

Anything is better than Ron Rivera (lol), Mike Shula (developed David Garrard, oh wow), and Ken Dorsey (never been a coach before).

I think the Texans would for sure be better with Cam..decent Oline, strong running game..true #1 and emerging #2 WR. I also think the 49ers would be amazing with Cam, they get the ball out quicker and have a faster tempo, Cam has flourished when playing up tempo. Cam would for sure make the Jags and Titans better, Rams, Phins too.  I think the Eagles offense would be ideal for Cam hurry up, designed QB runs quick routes designed on getting the ball to playmakers quickly.

Cam would certainly make some teams worse, Broncos, Pack, Cowboys, Saints, Pats, Ravens, Giants, to name a few

Cam would not have any impact on the Raiders, Bengals, Steelers. Dalton and Cam are up and down and I think Pryor takes a big step this year.

What??? Those are all teams with pocket passers that have a pocket passing offense. Shula is trying that, it is failing....Maybe...maybe...Cam would be successful with the Pack, but not Rodgers successful...that's no slight on Cam.

Only an OC like Shula would be dumb enough to handcuff a threat like Cam as a pure pocket passer. Not everyone is that inept.

I agree that Shula is a fool...but come on I gave a thorough answer to the question and you quote one line about the teams Cam wouldn't help..Do you think Cam could out perform Manning, Romo, ARod, Brady, or Flacco??? My point was he couldn't, if you think he can, I can say your optimism is a real breath of fresh air.

Yes Pryor with his 4td and 2int's is dominating.

Give Cam to the Bengals and they are in a Superbowl last year.

And I would love to see Cam with the Broncos, Pack, Cowboys, Saints, and Giant weapons before I make a judgement on what he could do.

That is a huge leap from " I think Pryor takes a big step this year"... No fuging way he is dominating and I didn't and would not say that. WTF is wrong with your brain?

Big step is what I said...Big step... use the correct phrase.. Yes from benchwarmer, spot starter to middle of the pack starting QB, which is what I think he will show this year is a big step for me. I don't want to measure dicks here, yours is probably bigger, but if you quote me, quote me correctly I could care less if you don't agree, just don't blatantly turn what I am saying into what you want..I used the words that I used.

Big Step big leap WTF ever. Don't get you panties twisted over leap and step.

The fact you think he is becoming a middle of the league QB is the problem. He's winning doing stuff we don't want Cam to do.
