2-14 in games less than a TD.  That is what we say about Rivera.  it is also true about Cam.  If the line and WRs are good enough to get us into the fourth quarter with a lead, then why are we not good enough to win?

Hilton is turning out to be a good receiver.  We know that now.  Yet when he was drafted, I doubt Colts fans were jumping up and down saying they have their new star receiver or anything like that.  It could be that Luck is having a hand in making Hilton a good receiver.  I don't even think the Colts organization thought Hilton was going to be a star receiver.  I believe they primarily wanted him to be a PR and third receiving option.  If we are saying Hilton is going to be a star receiver, that part just happened.  So I wouldn't say they brought in Hilton as a move to build around Luck.  (Though you can and have made the case for those tight ends)

 

I disagree.  They traded back into the 3rd round and drafted Hilton with the intent to use him to build their offense.  If you don't really think much of a player, why do you do that?  This wasn't some 5th or 6th round flier...

 

You can think the Colts haven't done that much if you really want, but I think their offensive talent surpasses ours, especially when it comes to youth. They've drafted or filled needs at every position on the offense to help Luck.  We can't say anything close to that...

The line between winning and losing is fine.  If Peyton Manning were our QB, would we be 1-3?  No.  He had a worse defense in Indy and he has a terrible OL right now. 

 

Since Cam has not won since arriving, it would be an appropriate position for you to consider the fact that he could be part of the problem and not everyone except him.

 

But you are right.  If you gave him a pro bowl line, Larry Fitz, Calvin, and Jimmy Graham,  he would be better.  

 

Again are we talking about the 16 year Manning or the 3rd year Manning? If your comparing a 3rd year player to a 16 year player then KYS!!! Really.

 

 

 

 

How many games again can you truly put on Cam and his play?

 

How about a OLine that doesn't give up 7 sacks every other game and not depending on the Oldest Number 1 WR in the league.

Or at least do what other teams do put talent around their young QB. Even Jake Locker and Ponder get new targets and protection but Cam gets the same players he had in 2011 other then a 2nd round Guard and Ted Ginn.
