Are you impressed by our defense?

I'd say Seattle is pretty darn good. And they had all offseason to prepare for us.

The thing with the Seattle game is that it was a low scoring affair. Seattle did not have to push it because they were in it the entire game. See their game against the texans. When the need to score more points, I am certain they would have.

Real test of this defense would be to see Peyton Manning but it's not going to happen thankfully. We've been playing well for how often the game is put on their shoulders. But, really the only real opponent weve encountered thus far, in my eyes, was Seahawks (that was impressive). Other opponents haven't really been offensive powerhouses, again my opinion.

I dunno, I was expecting games where they completely alter the offense's game plan like what the Cards did to us yesterday. I guess with all the talk of monsters inc, I was expecting a ferocious D.

That's what they did to NY and Seattle. Seattle wa just able to successfully run their alteration and our offense wasn't good enough to score more than 12 points.

If Seattle didn't score more than 12 against us cause they didn't feel they needed to, Carroll should be fired. I'm sure if they could have scored more they would have.

Giants game is an aberration as we can all see.

Again about Seattle, most teams will do just enough to win. What happened after our fumble? Cos they had the lead, they just chewed down the clock. If they had scored, the game would have ended 19-7. For me, had the defense been able to get us the ball back (there was more than 5mins on the clock), then they would have put us in a position to take the lead.

This defense is better than our losses indicate. You will probably see it in the stat lines by (at the very latest) the season's end.  Even with many young players that still need more experience and gelling, the defense has put us in a position to win each and every game. It should not be understated that an offense that has trouble scoring, and especially one that turns the ball over, is not doing a good defense any favors. Overall, I am impressed by this young unit, and hopefully it will continue to impress.

They are # 3 in the entire NFL in total defense

And #3 in the entire NFL in scoring defense.

If they could only play a little better, we might have a chance to win.

They are putting way too much pressure on our offense.

LMFAO

..are you not?

As I said earlier, they have not stopped the opposing offense when it mattered. Like when we had the lead in the Bills game with less than 2 mins on the clock. Against Seattle after we fumbled, they could not get the ball back with over 5mins to go. Against the Cards, I'll agree the offense did not show up.

It always matters.

If you're referring to the end of games, it's probably because they're exhausted due to never being off the fuging field
