Smith calls out Umpire from Arizona game

Damn straight.

I know everyone's going to hate on Steve and do the whole he's no good lost a step BS but he has a point here. The refs took us out of this game about as much as we did.

The refs are never held accountable. About time they get called out.

Still not as bad as the 07 Dallas game with Matt Moore at QB. That was the biggest screw job Ive ever seen.

Yea, I remember that game.  That was one of the most obviously rigged NFL games I've ever witnessed.

I don't want to hear a damn thing from Mr. 89. How the fug do you call somebody out for not doing their job while your sucking ass at yours.

I was loving that Steve called him out until I read this.  Oh yeah Steve lets talk about people not doing their job.

He's half right.  He should have caught the TD pass, different ball game if he had.  He admitted as such. Even the commentators were saying how that first down no-call shouldn't have even required a challenge.

The game-clinching drive by the Cardinals' offense, I remember them holding our DEs like newborns and Fitz getting away with a massive hold on White on a running down.

i recall a play (not sure if it was the game clinching drive or not) where there was a blatant hold on hardy that allowed their HB to get to the edge. the refs threw a flag, and i was relieved.... only to find out that they called a hold on drayton florence on the complete opposite side of the field. poo like that happens too often to us, but i don't see why the nfl would fix games against the carolina panthers, especially for teams like the cards.

It was pretty obvious to me and I was watching on tv. Bad officiating was confirmed when they spotted Smitty's catch 2 yards short of where it was put after review. Pretty difficult to get it wrong by 2 yards without trying. If I was the coach on our sideline, I would've been in the refs' faces all day long, Harbough brothers style.
