Browns asking for 2nd round pick for Gordon

Give em hardy straight up for him.

Seriously though, I'm all for it. Try and get him for a 3rd, if they say no, I'd throw in a 5th, but that would be a damn good grab for us. We suck at drafting in the second and 3rd anyway. It's not likely that we will grab anyone worthwhile, might as well use it on a guy that is a potential pro bowler as soon as he steps on the field instead of taking 4 or 5 years to develop... aka Brandon Lafell, armanti edwards, Etc.

Smitty, Ginn, Gordon, and Olsen next year as our top receivers? I'd cum buckets.

Look at Vincent Jackson. Tampa seems fine with him after all the crap in San Diego. Wish we would have went after him but our franchise has no balls. We have a terrible track record drafting WR's and our 2nd round picks are usually busts.

Sorry makes way to much sense to trade for Gordon so obviously it's not going to happen.

Let's be honest we need weapons. Last time I checked, Gordon is a very dangerous one. If we can acquire him and sign Nicks in the off-season, we won't need to draft a WR in this draft. We can forgo Watkins and draft Lewan (who stonewalled Clowney all game long) or Matthews or Kouandjio or etc etc etc...

Still draft a WR

So I can hear how Cam receivers are making him look good, not the other way around

I agree with this plan as long as it's not a 2nd given up for Gordon. He's not the finished article as a WR. Has to work on his hands and route running but is an amazing talent. Also need to factor the off the field issues. The fact the CLE wants to trade him is also a cause for concern too.

Not sure Nicks will arrive but if both do, drafting an top tier Oline talent in the draft is a given.

They have a new front office. They just traded T Rich. Didn't seem like Indy was very concerned.

I know some say we are okay, but AE and Hixon are non-existent. It would add another weapon and possible #1 for the future.

Then we could go OL in free agency and draft, and grab a receiving/blocking TE to pair with Olsen.

Thoughts?

Let's do it!
