My brother uses this in NYC. He says you can get an Uber black sedan pretty much any time of day and at the same times you can't find a taxi. Billed automatically and you can see the GPS of where all the uber cars are right on your app. Costs a few bucks more for sure.

 

This should put yellow cabs out of business. I stopped trying to get a cab in the greater metro area a long time ago.

Thanks for this! I'll be using it when I travel to Charlotte for pleasure. I'd love to simply park my car n the hotel parking garage and use this to get around town over a couple days.
