We'll I kinda agree with u about Bismack. His hands are terrible. He has zero offense. Can't dribble can't shoot. Hell he can barely dribble without fouling himself. I say we wait until Jefferson leaves until we make a decision on him long term. Hell two years from now he will still only be 22 years old. And should be atleast looking better.

MKG- I'm confused about this. One side of me wants to trade him and roll with a draft pick or using him to trade up for a high pick. The other part of me wants to wait with him too. But he has a terrible shot. Nobody plays D up on him bc nobody fears his shot. Therefore he can't really get around year players and get to the basket. So idk I really like him but I feel like we should move on.

Kemba is a keeper and def a bright spot on this team. Chuck I usually agree with players u say aren't that good. For example I've always disliked lafell. But Kemba has been the best player on the team. He is lightning quick and with zeller and Taylor and MKG running the floor that is def some speed.

I agree with u on Hendo. Wish we just would have moved on. Never have liked his game and play for us.

I agree with what you said about MKG. If he doesnt show improvement on his shot early this season, I wish we'd be smart enough to try and move him before the trade deadline. It'd only be more difficult to try and make a trade with him during the days leading up to the draft next year. Love his energy and attitude but there's no way he will be able to be a key part on this team if he doesnt find a way to shoot the ball. I think he can be a better Kawhi Leonard if he can just get it all together at this point in time.

For Kemba, I always love the kid but I have no problem critiquing him. Fans seem to never want to say anything bad about a player on their favorite team. That's not me. I wish Kemba can just win me over, but he hasnt. This is the year to do so with the additions of two offensive bigs: Jefferson and Zeller and two years under his belt. There will be no more excuses. Kemba needs to be a consistent 3 point shooter. That will open up his game and he has to be able to pass the ball. If those two areas doesnt improve, I dont think he will ever be a top PG in this league. Atm, I think the best he'll ever be is just another role player on a good team like a George Hill or Mike Conley.

MKG wasted pick once again. He will never be worth anything on offense. He is Stacy Augman at best. Should have drafted Barnes. Trade him while we can get anything for him.

While I think he has a lot of work to do. Saying he was a waste pick this early isn't right. He's still so young. Give him atleast 2-3 years atleast then make a decision.

There was a Barnes vs. MKG thread a not long ago, and it went crazy. I think that MKG can improve but this "think" wont be anytime soon. Im talking about 3-4 more years. Thats not really what you want out of a no.2 overall pick.

If I have to redo the draft, I would be smart enough to draft Barnes over MKG. Really,I would go with Drummond. But, being a Charlotte fan, I really hope that MKG can turn it up overnight. Yes, "overnight".

If MKG doesnt show any signs of improvement through the trade dealine, if I'm Cho I would start calling the other 29 GMs instantly. Trade MKG for a pick if lucky, or if we ends up with three 1st round picks I would package "MKG + the Portland's pick" for a quality player.

Anyone wanna do a "sign and trade" MKG for Loul Deng?

2014 Roster:

PG: Kemba
SG: Hendo
SF: Deng / Taylor
PF: Zeller / McRoberts

C  : Jefferson / Biyombo

Draft: Marcus Smart / Dante Exum / Aaron Harrison / Aaron Gordon

    • Exactly the type of thing he would have done here. The excuse people were stannin’ so hard claiming he would have looked just as bad. Just not true.
    • Yes and there aren't 32 starting QBs in the league either. Too many teams and too many games. The NFL has regressed over the years and game quality is lacking. The other leagues are supposed to be farm leagues but it doesn't matter. You just won't have 32 no matter what they do. The move to super athletes playing QB at all levels has lead to this. It used to be those guys played other positions but now they are QBs who can't really QB.  It has a trickle down effect too. OL can't block because they never had to. The fact that in today's game your QB must be able to run at least a little to survive is evidence of this as well. IMO they have ruined the game same as with the NBA. It's been simplified to the point of being boring.  Just look at the top 10 this season. Patrick Mahomes (Chiefs) Joe Burrow (Bengals) Josh Allen (Bills) Lamar Jackson (Ravens) Dak Prescott (Cowboys) Jalen Hurts (Eagles) Brock Purdy (49ers) Jordan Love (Packers) Justin Herbert (Chargers) Matthew Stafford (Rams) Once we get to number 5 the stats look like this: 167 262 1,845 63.7 7.0 10 8 65 18 84.5   47.5   10 TDs and 8 INTs??? At number 5??? There was a time not that long ago that he wouldn't even be a starter.
    • I'm not convinced that the NFL is any better or worse at developing QBs now than they were 20 years ago.  I mean I'm sure there are some developmental issues at play, just not sure it is any different than it has been. The biggest difference IMO is that NFL teams are waaaaaaaay more willing to invest a 1st round pick into a QB now than they were 15-20 years ago.  A guy like Colin Kaepernick would probably be a top 5 pick in 2025, whereas he went in the 2nd in 2011.  Would a guy like Trey Lance go top 3 in 2010?  Hell no.  Look at Russell Wilson - he didn't go until the 3rd round.  The standard for being a 1st round QB has dropped. So it may seem like we're seeing more high-profile busts at the position, but we're also seeing teams reach for QBs way more than they have in the past.  Someone with Anthony Richardson's college resume doesn't go in the top 3 20 years ago.
